Brian Dirkmaat

Brian is a partner at Rimon. He provides general counsel and transactional representation, with a particular focus on early-stage financing, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate transactions. He represents investors and founders who better the world through tech, cleantech, biotech, and active outdoor lifestyle brands.

Brian’s commitment to providing useful legal guidance is grounded in his desire to establish long-term relationships with clients. His empathy for clients when they face business opportunities or problems forges those relationships and empowers them to make educated decisions. He understands that his work requires striking a balance between legal realities and business practicalities, while communicating complex concepts in simple terms.

Before joining Rimon, Brian was the founding partner of Coeptus Law, Inc. Before that he was a partner at a boutique firm in San Diego following his time as counsel and an associate at three firms in Silicon Valley.
