Laura-Michelle Horgan

Laura-Michelle Horgan represents public and private companies in litigation, corporate, and intellectual property matters. With more than 20 years of experience in federal and state courts, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings, she has successfully guided clients through a broad range of complex disputes and business challenges. Her experience includes obtaining and collecting multimillion-dollar judgments on contract and fraud claims, securing favorable dismissals of claims brought against clients, and negotiating highly favorable settlements when doing so best serves her clients’ business objectives.  

Laura-Michelle also advises start-ups, independent companies, and mid-sized businesses in the beauty, fashion, wellness, and luxury industries on intellectual property matters, trade secret protection, and brand protection. Laura-Michelle has successfully obtained patents, copyrights, and trademarks for clients in the United States and abroad. She also represents clients in intellectual property disputes, including trademark and copyright enforcement matters. Laura-Michelle has a particular expertise in supply chain protection, online sales platforms, takedowns, grey market sales, and extrajudicial platforms such as Amazon’s APEX program.
