Lily Wound

Lily Wound is an Intellectual Property (IP) Transactions attorney who advises companies on a wide range of complex business, commercial, licensing, and IP-related transactions. Her practice focuses on supporting clients through strategic transactions and contractual matters, with a particular emphasis on innovative and high-growth industries.

Lily has significant experience advising Life Sciences companies across the full product lifecycle, beginning with her representation of pharmaceutical companies earlier in her career to her current representation of biotechnology and early-stage companies at the forefront of innovative science and technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), gene therapy, gene editing, and engineered cell therapies.

Lily also counsels early-stage and growth-stage companies in Climate Change on a wide range of business, commercial and intellectual property matters.  Lily works closely with Climate Change companies on their respective business models, including whether they are a services, product or platform company, or any combination the foregoing.  In addition, Lily works closely with Climate Change companies to navigate complex legal, regulatory and business challenges.  As with her practice in Life Sciences, Lily also needs to understand the science in Climate Change, as science is also a critical component, and at the heart of, Climate Change businesses.
